Special note for orders being shipped to New Zealand from overseas with a value greater than NZ$1,000:
New Zealand Government Customs policy requires individuals and businesses to obtain a Customs Number (also called a “Client Code”) in order to bring items into New Zealand that are valued over NZ$1,000.
In order to ensure seamless delivery of your Reebelo order and avoid any delays with Customs, you should apply for a Customs Number as soon as possible after placing your order.
What is a Customs Number?
A Customs Number is a unique number that identifies individual importers and exporters, and is required as part of the import process for shipments valued at NZ$1,000 or more.
How do I know if I need a Customs Number?
If this is the first time you are receiving an item into New Zealand worth over NZ$1,000, you will need to apply for a Customs Number. However, if you have previously brought in or sent items overseas worth over NZ$1,000, you do not need to re-apply, as you would have received this via email from Customs, or your Broker.
How do I apply for a Customs Number?
Please visit the NZ Customs website to access the application form and submission instructions: https://www.customs.govt.nz/personal/send-and-receive-items/customs-number/
Once the form has been approved, you will receive an auto-response advising you of your Customs Number.
